Good quality professional development and reflective practice are essential parts of a teacher’s professional life. The PDQ programme is not only about helping to improve student learning – it is also about valuing, supporting and being committed to professional learning so that the staff themselves become lifelong learners. Involving teachers, with their varied perspectives, in school development can yield innovative and productive ideas.
