Our Workshops

Classroom Alive

This three-part workshop series explores active learning strategies that boost student engagement, deepen understanding, and make thinking visible. Across all sessions, participants will engage in hands-on activities, explore Visible Thinking Routines, and be introduced to Creative Problem Solving, with Parts 1 and 2 designed to be experienced together.

Classroom Alive #1

This workshop equips participants with skills to apply active learning in the classroom. Through hands-on activities and short discussions, participants will explore strategies that promote peer collaboration, deepen understanding of learning principles, and reflect on practical applications to strengthen student engagement and outcomes. Learning by doing is the core.

Classroom Alive #1
Classroom Alive #2

This workshop aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to implement active learning strategies in their classrooms to enhance students’ learning. Through hands-on learning activities, participants will gain experience of how these learning strategies promote higher-order thinking. To further develop learners’ thinking, Visible Thinking Routines are used as a tool to scaffold, support and enhance their thinking.

Our  Workshops

Teacher I've Got It

This two-part workshop focuses on using formative feedback, questioning, and rubrics to support self-regulated learning. Through critique of samples, hands-on tasks, and guided discussions, participants will develop practical skills to design effective feedback, craft thinking-focused questions, and create rubrics that promote learner ownership and deeper understanding.

Teacher I've Got It #1
Teacher I've Got It #1

This workshop explores how formative feedback and questioning can build self-regulated learners. Participants will critique feedback samples, craft thinking-focused questions, and engage in hands-on activities and short discussions to deepen understanding, apply ideas in practice, and reflect on how to support student thinking and ownership of learning.

Teacher I've Got It #2
Teacher I've Got It #2

This workshop focuses on using rubrics to support self-regulated learning. Participants will analyse sample rubrics, identify key features, and design their own using templates. Hands-on tasks and short discussions will help clarify learning principles and connect them to practice. This is Part 2 of a two-part series—both are recommended.

Creative Problem Solving #1
Creative Problem Solving #1

This workshop will walk participants through the first two stages in Creative Problem Solving (CPS), based on the CPS Learner's Modell (from the Creative Education Foundation, developed by Dr Gerard J. Puccio, Marie Mance, and co-workers).  Participants will work collaboratively to solve a real-world problem.  In this part of the workshop, participants will learn strategies to gather information, analyse information and generate ideas.  These strategies are aligned with Marzano's Core Thinking Skills.  Group sharing will be held to allow participants opportunities to share as well as garner ideas.  Short plenary discussions will be facilitated for participants to clarify and reinforce their understanding of the various strategies, and reflect on their learning.

Creative Problem Solving #2

This workshop will walk participants through the last two stages in Creative Problem Solving (CPS) based on the CPS Learner's Modell (from the Creative Education Foundation, developed by Dr Gerard J. Puccio, Marie Mance, and co-workers). Working collaboratively to solve a real-world problem, participants will learn strategies to evaluate options for decision making, and methods to develop and implement a project plan.  Some of these strategies are aligned with Marzano's Core Thinking Skills.  Group sharing will be held to allow participants opportunities to share as well as garner ideas.  Short plenary discussions will  be facilitated for participants to clarify and reinforce their understanding of the various strategies, and reflect on their learning.

Identifying Children with Special Needs

This workshop aims to equip teachers with the knowledge and strategies to identify students with special needs in a general curriculum classroom. While teachers are not responsible for diagnosing these conditions, they play a key role in identifying early signs and facilitating the assessment process.

Teachers will be encouraged to refer students for further evaluation at specialized clinics or centers if necessary. The focus will be on modifying classroom instructions and assessments to better support students with special needs, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
